Curious about God's plan for your life?

Want to go deeper? Our Christian Development Course was designed to equip you with the essential doctrines of the Bible. As we get closer to the return of Jesus, a strong foundation in His Word is important for all Christians.

We Can't Wait to Meet You!

At Christian Life Center, we aim to obey what Jesus called the greatest commandment, to "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind... [and] love thy neighbor as thyself." To this end, our guest reception exists just for you. As our first, second- or third-time guest, we want to make sure we have an opportunity to greet you personally, answer any questions you may have and send you home with a small gift. Our doors are open every week, so be sure to stop by directly after the Sunday morning service for coffee, donuts and conversation with some pretty cool people. If you're planning to visit us in the near future or have any questions, please fill out the form below and one of our staff will be in touch with you shortly.

  • In 1974 the doors opened for the first time under the name First United Pentecostal Church of Rockville

  • Services were held in a small white church with very little modern conveniences. This building still stands today

  • Baptisms held at local creek due to lack of running water

  • Rented Casey Barns to hold our services as the first building project began

  • Congregation cleared the land and took part in most of the building construction

  • The church often held brush arbor meetings and tent revivals

  • God miraculously provided an abundance of land at low cost

  • Supernatural sign of Holy Ghost fires appeared over the Casey Barns during service perplexing first responders.

  • Church growth necessitated start of second building project

  • Church name changed to Christian Life Center

  • Began hosting powerful single's conference, Simply Jesus, attracting young adults and anointed speakers from all over the U.S. running annually for a period of 15 years.

  • New church plant started in Silver Spring, MD

  • By 2005, continued congregational growth saw a third building project

  • Original property sold in 2012 to make way for brand new building program in Ijamsville, MD in response to the vision for the future of Christian Life Center.

  • In 2016 the mantle was passed from Founding Pastor Ron Libby to Sr. Pastor Sean Libby but the mission has never changed and our passion to reach this community has never been stronger.

"I moved here in April to Walkersville from New Braunfels, Texas to be closer to my family. I have been desperately looking for a Apostolic Church to attend. I have been so blessed to find a church that feels like home. I was so excited to meet so many other Christians, so many came up to me and introduced to me and hugged me, and it just felt so wonderful and so inviting to be at such a peaceful place of God. I am home."

"Christian Life Center is a warm and inviting place to go and praise God. The pastoral staff is amazing. The choir is equally amazing. I have chosen to take my family to Christian Life Center and become a member of the Christian Life Center family. Everyone is welcome, you will be taught the word of God from the bible. You will be touched by the Holy Spirit if you open yourself up. You will be changed!"
